Originally named Pigeontown and renamed in 1840, Blue Bell is a Philadelphia suburb and is conveniently located near the intersection of I-476 and I-276.  Gloria Dei is located in Blue Bell on a quiet stretch of Butler Pike, just south of Skippack Pike, but within minutes of Plymouth Meeting Mall and extended retail along Germantown Pike.  Downtown Ambler is just a few minutes north of the church on Butler Pike.
